Pros and cons of Shogi Lv.100 (Japanese Chess) app for iPhone and iPad

Shogi Lv.100 (Japanese Chess) app good for

This app, with its 100 levels of difficulty and the ability to have handicaps, is perfect for learning how to play without the discouraging effect of being constantly obliterated by a computer that is too strong for your skill level (like some chess software). Also, you can switch the the kanji on the game pieces for English letters and when you touch each piece you can see their movement possibity. All of which make it ideal to learn how to play Shogi.
This app is great! I tried a more expensive one first, and it did not have 1/2 of the features of this one. Id pay 3 times the price for this. Great value, great job!
1$ for so many features. This is really a good deal. I paid a few more copies to my friends as well. Recommended.
I used this app (along with rules on a website) to learn Shogi. Even on level 1, I got crushed in my first game, but then I won the next couple - that level is set to make mistakes, which is what a beginner like me needs! I cant say anything about other levels yet. The pieces look well designed and sound effects make it seem realistic. You have to win "medals" (by beating the computer at various levels) to open up more than the initial 2 types of boards (one with English letters on each piece, the other with Japanese symbols). Some of the help screens are written in non-fluent English, but its usually easy to figure out what they mean. Once you get the hang of it, Shogi is a fun game. Just watch out for your oppoonent dropping pieces into your position!
Out of all the shogi apps, this is by far the smoothest and sleekest. No complaints.
This is a great shogi app, definitely worth the cost. To the developers: I love that you can play using game center. However, in online multiplayer mode, the 30 second time limit is too short. I just want to play for fun against a friend. A pause, undo, and extend time option would be really really nice

Some bad moments
